Residential Condominium: A Design Marvel by Leesa Conley

Unleashing the Power of Glass and Light

Located in the prestigious Condominium Hotel, this residential condominium is a testament to the power of design and innovation. Designed by the renowned architect Leesa Conley, this space showcases the seamless integration of art, architecture, and technology. With its breathtaking glass façade and unique layout, this condominium redefines luxury living.

The design of this residential condominium was inspired by the rectangular space, which features a continuous glass façade and a parallel structural column line. Leesa Conley ingeniously located the livable spaces next to the windows, allowing for higher ceiling heights and an abundance of natural light. On the other side of the structural line, the service spaces such as bathrooms, closets, laundry, and archive were strategically placed. This thoughtful layout provides a sense of freedom and openness in the main areas, creating a long, uninterrupted space.

One of the standout features of this design is the utilization of the extraordinary high ceiling height of 11'6. By expanding on the length of the entire apartment, a captivating open corridor was created next to the storefront glass. This corridor is distinguished by a change in pattern on the hardwood flooring and the height and pattern of the ceiling. The use of glass above the doors further enhances the continuity of the ceiling pattern, resulting in a visually stunning effect. These design choices not only emphasize the breathtaking views and natural light but also create a sense of drama and elegance.

The interior spaces of this residential condominium are meticulously designed to maximize natural light and open space. With balconies along the window wall, every room is bathed in sunlight. The high-end finishes, including walnut, marble, and lacquer, add a touch of sophistication to the space. Circular shapes in the living and dining room furnishings provide a harmonious balance to the linear design elements.

Collaborating closely with the architect and engineers, Leesa Conley seamlessly integrated the design of the structure, mechanical systems, lighting, and interior spaces. The result is a cohesive and elegant design that balances both form and function. The attention to detail and the meticulous planning behind this design is evident in every aspect of the condominium.

Spread over approximately 4,844 square feet, this residential condominium offers spectacular views of the city from its tall building located in the heart of the city. The linear distribution of the spaces follows the elongated floor plan, maximizing the use of the glass façade. The main corridor connects the living room, dining area, and kitchen, with access to the bedrooms located on both ends. The master room boasts a large walk-in closet and a master bathroom wrapped in translucent marble stone, adding a touch of luxury to the space.

Functionality is at the core of this design. The apartment features two entrances, each leading to a different area of the condominium. The main entrance opens to a foyer covered with special customized panels that contain a geometrical pattern. This foyer leads to the main open space between the living room and a reading-waiting area. The service entrance opens to a vestibule that gives access to a guest bathroom and the laundry room, connecting to the main open space between the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with modern cabinetry, hidden appliances, and an island with a range and oven, creating a seamless and efficient cooking experience.

As an added touch of convenience, the glass façade of the condominium features automatic shades with different positions to control the exterior light according to the residents' preferences. This allows for a customizable and comfortable living environment.

The design of this residential condominium was not without its challenges. Relocating ducts and coordinating with neighboring apartments for drainage work required meticulous planning and coordination. However, these challenges were overcome with creativity and technical expertise, resulting in a space that is both visually stunning and functional.

Completed in 2016, this residential condominium stands as a testament to Leesa Conley's design prowess and her ability to seamlessly integrate art, architecture, and technology. Its unique layout, breathtaking views, and meticulous attention to detail make it a true masterpiece of design and innovation.
